The Future Plan for HAL

The Bangalore HAL airport though it is closed as of now since new Bengaluru International airport is opened at Devanahalli. Still there are major chances to be reopened for this Court has given 12 weeks of time for discussion.

Now the new Government Bharatiya Janatha Party which has won 110 seats among 224 seats has included 5 more from Independent party and the count is now 115 wherein they are going to be the New elected government once most likely Yediyurappa will sworn as Chief Minister of Karnataka this week once that is done there will be a major discussion regarding the Airport.

There is also a request from the Information Technology/BT companies for re-opening of The Bangalore HAL airport.

Day 1 Bengaluru International Airport had 341 flight handlings.

Bengaluru Airport started off with Landing of Indian Airlines flight whereas earlier plan was to take off the Flight. Indian airlines flight landed at BIAL airport which came from Mumbai.

Later after Indian Airlines flight took off to Singapore.

There was no formal inauguration for such land mark.
The main reason being government is yet to form in Karnataka.
The plans are there to inaguarate formally once New Elected government takes place in Karnataka.

Bangalore was waiting from long time for this to happen. Whereas infrastructure wise till work is going on wherein I travelled between Mekhri circle and Hebbal circle we can see at least 250 workers are working for building up roads.

There was strong protest from Karnataka Rakshana Vedike the demand is on renaming the Bengaluru international airport has Kempegowda International Airport still things yet to decide.

Cargo Facilities still to take a shape and things are at max speed to meet the requirements.

The big question now is HAL Bangalore Airport future. There is time given for negotiate and reconsider the future use of HAL Bangalore Airport.

Whereas lot of Staffs who was working in HAL Bangalore Airport is still find their jobs for their future.

Hoping Elected government of Karnataka will address this and make required things.

After many postponements from March 28, May 11, May 23 and now to May 24 08.

The First flight will be early hours of 24th May. 00.01 Hours that is on Satuarday early hours Fridays Midnight.

BMTC has started its operation of buses from different locations today thats 22nd may 08. From 4 PM
