The long awaiting major thing for Bengaluru (Bangalore) International Airport is rail connectivity though there was thought of upgrading the existing line now the new thing is High speed connectivity from MG road to BIAL.

Karnataka government as planned is meeting centre team with a request for reopening of HAL airport and which is most needed for visiting Chennai, Trivandrum, etc.,

The Future Plan for HAL

The Bangalore HAL airport though it is closed as of now since new Bengaluru International airport is opened at Devanahalli. Still there are major chances to be reopened for this Court has given 12 weeks of time for discussion.

Now the new Government Bharatiya Janatha Party which has won 110 seats among 224 seats has included 5 more from Independent party and the count is now 115 wherein they are going to be the New elected government once most likely Yediyurappa will sworn as Chief Minister of Karnataka this week once that is done there will be a major discussion regarding the Airport.

There is also a request from the Information Technology/BT companies for re-opening of The Bangalore HAL airport.
