Karnataka, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced the plans to expand the Terminal that is T1 by 70% more approxmate of 40,000 Sq m at Bangalore Internation airport which can handle 17 million passengers a year.
GVK Power and infrastructure limited took over about 29% stake in BIAL. GVK will take over entire management process on cards.
Whereas government holds 26% of stake.
